There are seven major Canary Islands in total and Fuerteventura is the second largest of the group. The island is also the closest to the Africa Coast and as a result it has fantastic year round temperatures which are some of the hottest in Europe. Fuerteventura has lots of different things for people to see and do when visiting such as exploring the many different towns and resorts or relaxing on one of the numerous beaches. One thing which everyone should try at some point though is witnessing the amazing scenery on horseback.
Around the island there are a few horse riding schools all of which offer expert tuition for people who have been horse riding before or for those who are completely new to it. Fuerteventura is a really good place for people to learn how to horse ride as the tuition is excellent but it is also a great way to see the island’s scenery. Also everything needed to go horse riding is included in the experience.
The more adventurous might want to head straight out on an excursion and horseback is an excellent way to explore the Fuerteventura. Travelling across a number of different terrains to areas where cars can’t reach you really can get to areas of Fuerteventura that most others won’t get to see. Exploring the landscape created by volcanic eruption is fantastic and riding along the coastline gives the opportunity to experience some fantastic views.
Getting out and about on a horse also gives people the perfect opportunity to work on that perfect holiday tan instead of timing yourself whilst lying next to the pool so as not to tan the back more than the front. Getting high up on a horse really helps people to get a nice even tan whilst doing something which everyone should try at some point.
Everyone who tries horse riding when in Fuerteventura remembers it for a long time afterwards and almost everyone who returns to the island simple has to do the horse riding excursion again as soon as they get the chance. The day isn’t just spent riding though as there are plenty of opportunities to jump off and enjoy the many sights and have some refreshments too.
For cheap holidays to Fuerteventura, look no further.
